A North American style sports bar with ample space for causal dinning, playing a game of pool, getting a sports fix on ESPN, dancing to live bands, or just enjoying quiet spaces within a conformable setting or in our outdoor beer gardens. That is the Malone’s experience. Wooden bars stretch the length of the interior and are equally matched by the long list of available beers and drinks. The menu is just as broad with its wide offering of pastas, Tex-Mex, Pizza and Asian dishes. And of course the great american café food is plentiful. Malone’s American Café has it all. Don’t be confused by the “American” in the name, Malone’s is actually Canadian. Malone’s American Café opened its doors 13 years ago by a group of Canadians who wanted to bring north american style dining and the neighborhood sports bar feel to Shanghai. At some outlets a wooden Canadian Mountie can be found standing near the front door.
Malone’s American Café has developed into a staple of Shanghai’s dining and nightlife scene. In a city that sees restaurants, bars and clubs open and close everyday, the 13 year record is unique in Shanghai’s foreign owned bar community. We have found that the consistency of good food, cold beer, great live music and of course service with a smile, makes for the recipe of success. Customer loyal and feedback support this view.
In October 2007 our subsidiary China Pub Food and Beverage Management Company Limited (CPFBM) entered into an exclusive 25 year co-operation agreement with Mholding Limited, a subsidiary of Shanghai Malone’s American Café Company Limited. Our aim with this agreement is to open and operate up to 20 Malone’s American Café branded bars and restaurants in Greater China over a 25 year period. M Holding Ltd and its subsidiaries will provide the management team and operations for each outlet for a minimum period of two years.
